Waiver Policy
The International Journal of Physics Research and Applications (IJPRA) is dedicated to fostering global scientific collaboration by providing an open-access platform for researchers. We acknowledge that some authors, particularly from low-income and developing countries, may face financial challenges in covering Article Processing Charges (APCs). To promote equitable access to publication, we offer a waiver policy for eligible authors.
Eligibility for Waivers
The IJPRA waiver policy aims to support researchers who lack institutional funding or financial support for publication. Waivers may be granted to:
- Authors from low-income and developing countries as classified by international organizations.
- Researchers without institutional or grant funding for publication costs.
- Early-career scientists and independent researchers with financial constraints.
Each waiver request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and authors must provide supporting documents to justify their need for a waiver.
Waiver Approval Process
All waiver requests are carefully evaluated by the editorial board of IJPRA. The decision regarding a full or partial waiver is based on the author’s financial status, institutional affiliation, and availability of funds for waivers. Authors will be notified of the decision promptly after submission of their request.
Partial Waivers
Depending on the applicant's circumstances, some authors may qualify for a partial waiver, which reduces but does not completely eliminate the APC. The extent of the waiver is determined based on available funds and the applicant's financial need.
Waiver Request Submission
To apply for a waiver, authors should send a formal request to the IJPRA editorial office at [email protected]. The request must include:
- Author’s full name and institutional affiliation (if applicable).
- The manuscript title and submission ID (if available).
- A detailed explanation of financial constraints, supported by relevant documents such as proof of low-income status or lack of funding.
Authors are encouraged to submit waiver requests as early as possible, preferably at the time of manuscript submission, to ensure timely processing and avoid delays.
The IJPRA remains committed to making scientific research accessible to a broad audience by minimizing financial barriers. For further details regarding waiver eligibility, please contact our editorial office.
